Ready-made, vacuum-packed and easily stored in your refrigerator help you optimize time (less work in the kitchen), resources (less waste in shopping), quality (food safety) and flexibility in your menu (choice). Put excellence on the table not only for a lunch or dinner, but also throughout the week.
The road to desires has always seemed to me like an adventurous journey: a succession of changes, encounters, obstacles, setbacks and surprises. No stage is useless. There are only opportunities to learn and get involved.
My journey begins with adolescence. It is usually described as a confused and indefinite age. But I had a very clear goal: I just had to figure out how to become a chef! From the moment I crossed the threshold of the hotel-management school, it seemed to me that I was taking the road that led to my dreams. A clear direction, with no stops or detours.
That doesn't mean it was always an easy and exciting journey: a kitchen brigade is a challenging environment. When you're also the only woman, there are two possibilities: you can either succumb or put in even more motivation. I, of course, chose the latter.
So, between a period of apprenticeship and a few opportunities to test my leadership, the fundamental turning point arrived. You know those thoughts that turn on and turn into an idea? It was a moment. I thought, "My world is the kitchen, but who says a chef has to always have just one to work in?"
Why set boundaries if you can have so many forms and so many places to express yourself?
That question, elementary and decisive, has traced a new path in my professional journey: a road not beaten that has already brought me into the kitchens of many people in the role of home chef.
Of course, there have been pauses, doubts, uncertainties and hesitations: a normal situation when one chooses a path that is not well traveled and without clear indications. There were moments when I felt like I was walking in the dark. Then, little by little, the first feedback began to arrive, the path became brighter and more defined. Thanks to my work as a personal chef, I also realized that some goals can only be achieved if we are willing to build our own way towards them.
Perhaps, the difference between profession and vocation is just that.
